This Privacy Policy applies to Android apps published by Raul Mellado on Google Play, unless a specific app has its own separate privacy policy.

We design our apps to collect as little personal information as possible. Many of our apps work primarily on your device and do not require an account.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the app you use, we may collect or process the following types of information.

1.1 Information stored locally on your device

Some apps may let you create, save, or track personal content inside the app, such as notes, preferences, settings, progress, reminders, counters, history, or other app-specific records.

Unless clearly stated inside the app, this information is stored locally on your device and is not sent to our servers.

If you delete the app, local data may also be deleted from your device, depending on your device settings and backup configuration.

1.2 Purchase information

If an app offers paid features, one-time purchases, subscriptions, trials, or other in-app purchases, purchases are processed by Google Play.

We may use RevenueCat, a third-party purchase management provider, to help validate purchases, manage entitlements, restore purchases, and provide access to paid features.

We do not receive your full payment card details. Payment processing is handled by Google Play.

Purchase-related information may include data such as purchase status, product identifier, transaction identifier, purchase history, renewal status, entitlement status, app user identifier, device/platform information, country/region, currency, and related technical information needed to validate and manage purchases.

1.3 App usage and diagnostics

Some apps may collect limited technical information to help us understand whether the app is working correctly, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve the app.

This may include information such as:

  • App version
  • Device model
  • Operating system version
  • Language or region settings
  • Crash logs
  • Diagnostic information
  • Basic interaction events, if analytics are enabled in the specific app

Not all apps collect analytics or crash reports. Where possible, we keep diagnostics limited and privacy-respecting.

1.4 Contact information

If you contact us by email or through a support form, we may collect your email address and any information you choose to include in your message. We use this information only to respond to your request and provide support.

2. How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • To provide the app’s core functionality
  • To save your preferences and app settings
  • To validate purchases and unlock paid features
  • To restore purchases
  • To provide customer support
  • To fix bugs and improve app reliability
  • To understand general app performance and usage, where analytics are enabled
  • To comply with legal, tax, accounting, security, and platform obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing of Information

We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate our apps.

Depending on the app, these may include:

  • Google Play, for app distribution, billing, in-app purchases, crash reporting, and platform services.
  • RevenueCat, for purchase validation, entitlement management, subscription or purchase status, and restoring paid access.
  • Analytics or crash-reporting providers, if used by a specific app.

These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and contractual terms.

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, our apps, or our business.

4. Local Data and Device Permissions

Some apps may request device permissions only when needed for specific functionality. For example, an app may request notification permission to send local reminders.

If an app uses local notifications, those notifications are scheduled on your device. Unless otherwise stated, local reminder content is not sent to our servers.

You can manage app permissions through your device settings.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our apps are not intended for children under the age of 13, unless a specific app clearly states otherwise and is designed for children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

If an app is specifically intended for children or families, we will provide additional disclosures where required.

6. Data Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it inside the app, reset the app, or uninstall the app.

Purchase records may be retained by Google Play and RevenueCat for as long as needed to provide purchase validation, restore purchases, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain accurate transaction records.

Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request and maintain business records.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

For apps that store data locally, the security of that data also depends on your device security, operating system, backups, and access controls.

8. International Processing

Service providers we use may process information in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

You can:

  • Delete local app data by using in-app reset/delete features, where available.
  • Uninstall the app to remove local app data from your device.
  • Manage or cancel purchases and subscriptions through Google Play.

We may need to verify your request before responding.

10. App-Specific Notes

Different apps may use different features. The following app-specific notes explain important differences.

Rule & Rope

Rule & Rope is designed to work primarily on-device.

Prayer rules, completion history, counters, reminders, notes, settings, and similar app data are intended to remain on your device unless a future version clearly states otherwise.

Rule & Rope may use Google Play and RevenueCat to process and validate in-app purchases and unlock paid features.

Rule & Rope does not require an account.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate.

Your continued use of our apps after changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
